Delay will most likely still stand

Hey guys,

now i know I mentioned that some people have been willing to borrow me their cameras to use so that I can start this project. But I have some complications at them moment.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post I ordered a Video Capture Card so that I could have actual game play footage for my videos. Well Deal Extreme decided they wanted to ship my item to my old apartment, and not just my old apartment, my first apartment. When I wrote them they said it was too late cause they already shipped my item on x day at x time. Well guess what? I wrote that email a good 2-3 days before they shipped it, so they totally disregarded what I said and just shipped it anyways.

What I learned about this? Im not buying from them ever again!

On a second note as to why the delay will most likely stand.

I don't think I'll have that much time this summer to do it. Im leaving June 6th through June 19th. I'll be bowling in Nationals at Vegas and that I'll be on the west coast after that.

Come July 8th through July 16th I'll be in Michigan visiting a friend.

July 19th-August 30th I will be at my other job working at Japanese camp for the summer.

So as you can see time is a little tight. But I know some of you are thinking "Chuck there's a good 2-3 weeks where you could make a video!!" That's true, however; I don't think I will have enough time to work full time for 3 weeks, play through an entire game, make my video, and edit in the game play aspects, write a review, and still have time to hang out with my friends.

Granted in the future I might be able to do this a lot faster, but this will be my first video period and I already know that editing and stuff is going to take me awhile.

I might however, start doing the game play video stuff, possible finish that. Than while I am away on my trip if someone lets me borrow thei camera I may film and edit at night.

But again I have to wait for my Video Capture Card...and if I even get it...which I better. -.-

But saying I get the card I will start reviewing an old favorite game of mine. I'll start getting the video, and hopefully have it done by the time I leave for Vegas. If not than I'll get the rest when I get home. But if I do than when Im on vacation(and if I can borrow someones camera) I will work on recording my part and editing the game play and my commentary together. Whatever I have left when I get home I will spend time editing and hopefully have the first one up online.

But I gotta see if those guys are ok with me taking their camera for a few weeks.

I could possibly through out a vlog for wtf, but idk what kind of stuff its gonna talk about, could just be me being random and talking about stuff that's gonna come out.

Small Delay...

Hey guys,

so I just ran into a slight delay...though I just purchased the capture card I need to get game play footage...I won't be getting my camera for awhile...and awhile is when 1 of 2 things happen.

If they are doing the stimulus checks this year, that's when I'll go by my camera. The one I wanna get is pretty awesome and has some great fetaures...but is a tad spendy for me right now.

After I come back from camp at the end of August.

Yeah forgot to mention that I will be gone for about a month and a half of mid july-august.


I'd go buy it now, and I could...but I need money to go on my trip in like 3 weeks, and I need to leave about $1,000 to cover rent for july-september, which is only like $900 but I also need to leave money for electric...which for 3 months will be like $100.

So until one of those two things happen...I will be delayed making videos. I could use Emily's computer because it has a built in camera...but...I don't know we'll see. I wouldn't count on it.

So as of right now I don't have any form of a release date for a video to come out. But once I get it, I will do my very best to have a video out within the week...whether it be good or not, I will throw one out there.

Camera Suggestions

Alright guys,

so those of you that make videos, or have webcams, please suggest me a good one. I haven't looked into or done anything involving webcams at all. So far the only thing I've heard is that microsoft has some awesome one for 50 bucks that's 2 MegaPixels and works for windows.

Otherwise I haven't heard anything. So if you have any suggestions please comment, below, or drop me an email.

Alright so I think on top of blogging about the progress of In the Process, I'll blog a little about my day.

Just to keep everything easy, In the Process will always come first!! It will always be on top, if doesn't involve that I'll like a (RL only today) in the name of the title, that way if you don't wanna know what Im blogging about, you won't waste your time reading it.

So anyways on with my blogging!!

So I didn't get a lot of sleep last night...only 3 hours and than work calls me at 8 and says "Hey come to work at 9 instead of 11!" and I just go, sure.

So I get up awhile later...and by awhile I mean half an hour and go to work. Im pretty tired and blah, but than out of no where I get super hyper and just stay that way!

Infact Im still stuck hyper...maybe starting to come down from it, but I still have a lot of energy none the less! I did some working out today, and missed a phone call from Emily!! I was like NOOO I was only 3 feet away how didn't I hear my phone!?!?!? But she called back and it was all good. She's getting over her cold and will be back home in one week from today!

On other news...I don't have any other news...infact I don't think Im doing anything tonight but relaxing.

New Names

Alright guys,

I spent yesterday thinking about some names.

So far two people have given me ideas for the show titles. One from Steve Hanson called "wtf w/chuck" and two from Nick Van Beek(First Thought), Pixel Process and Pixel Progress. Both suggested me really awesome ideas and this is what I've decided.

1st

Im going to start off slow by doing one thing first. Im going to start off reviewing video games with a video review and than a written review to go with it. I've decided that the name of that show is going to be called "Pixel Perfect". Once I get my webcam I plan on doing a few demo videos and trying some stuff out with each one. But the demo videos are going to be games that are already out. So they are just for practice.

2nd

Once I feel comfortable doing the video game reviews(and video game trailer reviews) I plan on starting a weekly thing. I suppose its going to essentially be a vlog type deal. I plan on talking about stuff going that I hear about, some personal stuff, and stuff from the media. I'll also be having questions of the day, where people can leave a question or an answer. I'll select the most creative answers to go on the next show. The name for this show will "Wtf". The opening line will be "Welcome to What the F***, with you host Chukkaque, that's me. What the F*** is up!?"

So right now those are my plans.

Now you may be asking yourself, but Chukkaque, what about the name "In the Process"? Well glad you asked my friend. "In the Process" won't be going anywhere. I plan on using it as a name to represent both shows. So I suppose essentially it's my "Company" name.

So this is In the Process with Pixel Perfect and Wtf.

Morning Guys

Morning everyone,

I've been up for awhile and was working with the In the Process site.

I've been getting some good ideas and feedback from friends over facebook.

Steve Hanson suggested that I call the show "WTF w/Chuck"! It's not a bad name! Thanks for the idea Steve!

My friend Alex Ruziska said he didn't have any ideas, but would write a theme song for my show. Which is totally awesome! I just have to decide on a name now....

But other than that things are going ok. There are 2 core things I have to do first.

1. Deciding exactly how I want to do the show. Like I said before I want to a weekly episode about whats goin on in the world. I can't decide if I want to talk about whats going on in the states, locally, or in my own personal life. I'm thinking of doing a small part of all three. I wanna keep my show around 5 minutes long.

2. I need to get a webcam. I also need to make sure that I get a good quality webcam vs one of those crappy ones with poor...everything.

But the only one thing I am set on at the moment is doing reviews for new games coming out. I plan on making a video review as well as a written review to do with it.

I will probably make videos based off trailers as well.

Well guys those are the ideas I've got so far. Tell me what you think, any feed back is welcome, negative or positive!

Need some help guys!!

Hey guys,

This is my first blog. Right now Im in the process of thinking of ideas to do for my video channel I want to create. I already know that I plan on making video game reviews for new games and even videos based off game trailers I've seen.

But I also want to run a show weekly. Where I'll make a video about recent events happening in the world right now that I find interesting or a big deal, I'll also throw something personal in there from time to time.

I mostly need some ideas for weekly videos and I will be having a question of the day where people can leave me comments or video responses with questions I'll later use, or even with just regular answers.

Im also lacking in a title for the show >.< I know Im kinda failing at the moment. But I'll be using this for updates on things I've come up with. Please leave me all feedback whether good or bad, thanks guys!
